From a very young age, music has always been a big part of my life. Music has been apart of my life since the first grade. My mother and I used to do karaoke all the time as a child. my favorite song was " daddy's little girl" by Franky J. From this young age I knew that I had a strong love for music. At a young age, I became depressed and I have since then used music as a scapegoat. Music is a beautiful thing to me. Music makes you feel emotions. When I perform for others I begin to feel a rush. When I sing I get a sudden high. For me, singing is like a drug.

From a young age, I’ve always had a sense of motivation and passion driving me forward. Whether it’s exploring unique opportunities, learning additional skills, or meeting new people, I bring these values to every experience throughout my life on a personal and professional level. My personal interests include singing, drawing and modeling. MY EXPERIENCE WITH DFA
DFA Fellowship
The DFA Fellowship is the last stage of the program. Students involved in the program have the opportunity to work with both DFA and local partners! I am currently a fellow and run a DFA stand at the Wayne State Market.
Advanced Cohort
As a student in the Advanced Cohort, I was able to further my cooking knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit and learned communication skills and learned how to interact with a variety of people.
After-School Program
The After-School program is the first stage in the DFA program. We learned basic cooking skills, entrepreneurship and essential practices when preparing food.
